MEET NORMAN REEDUS

NORMANSIZED

As Daryl Dixon, in The Walking Dead, Norman is a sexy badass, who is in need of a good hot shower and shampoo. Norman, on the other hand, is one of the sweetest, genuine guys the CHIX have ever met. And, meeting with him was a wild rollercoaster ride. We attempted, through his agent, to book him on a show that was featuring a film that he had completed with his good friend (and ours) Paul Sampson. After being told several times “NO, he is not available”, the persistent CHIX tried one more time. The third time was a charm “HE CAN DO THE SHOW RIGHT NOW”.  After hyperventilating, we scheduled the show, sent him the preliminary information and went live with Norman, all in the course of 15 minutes.  For 11 glorious minutes, we chatted with him and instantly fell in love. He’s a very soft spoken and shy person with a dry sense of humor. And, long story short, he is in dire need of a vacation, is totally sleep deprived and, under no circumstances will he ever appear on Dancing with the Stars.  Here’s the show with The Reedus, which by the way is an Editor’s Choice——————————->

Get some sleep Norman, and if Daryl dies…………………we riot!

MEET ALLISON BURNETT

allison for the blog

Our first meeting with author/director/screenwriter, Allison Burnett was accidental. And, it was probably the luckiest accident the CHIX would ever encounter. We were researching a show with actor, William McNamara, who was in the midst of filming his latest project, The Trouble With Billy. A trailer for the film was available on YouTube..we watched it…and instantly fell in love with Allison, who was featured. He was satirically funny and his delivery was spot on. We immediately contacted him for our show.  His first interview with us was very “Inside the Actors Studio”, but it morphed into a confetti of random goodness. Since then, Allison has appeared on our show at least 10 times and we affectionally call him our CEO. Here’s our first show————->

Allison

Allison is an author extraordinaire and an insightful director. His novel Undiscovered Gyrl was adapted for film, by Allison, called “Ask Me Anything”  The cast included Britt Robertson, Robert Patrick, Martin Sheen, Christian Slater, Molly Hagan, Max Carver and Andy Buckley. The soundtrack was a result of a contest that Allison ran online, of songs written and perfomed by girls 18yrs and younger. This set the tone for the film’s lead who was 17 years old. One of our favorite shows was the reunion of the cast with Allison, Andy Buckley, Max Carver, Robert Patrick and Molly Hagan. Take a listen————->
