This will be our 7th Thanksgiving as The Chix.   We are grateful for so many things:

  1. For our continued and unconditional friendship.  It amazes us that we are still on speaking terms after 7 years………..just kidding
  2. For each show that we do.  From the research, to booking our guests, to promoting each show, to keeping the shows fresh and fun.
  3. For the continued and loyal support of our listeners. They are amazing.
  4. For the friends of our guests, who took the time to call in and surprise them.
  5. For our guests, who have all become part of the CHICK FAMILY.  We are forever grateful for their continued support of our show
  6. For not having to cook Thanksgiving dinner this year. We are the guests, this year

guymontageCongrats to our pal, actor Guy Nardulli, who will be appearing as Coach Revere in the new TV series, Starwood University, on Aspire TV, next week.  Guy has been on our show so many times, that we fondly refer to him as our Third Chick. ….whether he likes it or not. The CHIX are proud of you, Guy.

Look, we’ve all been to garage sales. People selling their stuff to other people who are willing to buy their stuff………….cheap!!!! It can be chaotic, dog eat dog, and funny. Actress, Molly Hagan was inspired by her past garage sale experiences and wrote this amazing film about 3 couples selling their “stuff” at a particular garage sale. What makes it so unique, is that the viewer can interact and select, at any given time, which couple they wish to follow. We are excited to be chatting with Molly on Thursday, 11/9 at 3PM/EST. The link will be provided shortly. In the meantime, enjoy the official trailer.

When you first talk to Terri, you feel like you have known her your entire life.  Well, we did chat with Terri, many times, and are proud to call her a life long friend.  She’s not only beautiful….well, just look at that mischievous smile, plus, she is incredibly talented, funny and STAUNCHY.

Her breakout role was portraying the sexy southern vixen, Ashton Main, in the miniseries North and South. With that sultry smile and pouty wiles, she managed to conquer the entire Confederate Army, if you get our drift. Take a look———>

Terri has, also, appeared as Leslie Carrington in Dynasty, big hair and shoulder pads didn’t slow her down…….watch out Joan Collins.  Then, in As the World Turns, she was the scheming Iris Dombrowski. Terri went on to appear in many prime time dramas such as Quantum Leap, ER, Law and Order…….and the list goes on and on.

Terri currently resides in New York City with her husband. She is the proud mom of Molly, who can be seen on Broadway in Waitress ( the talent runs in this family)…and the proud mom of the Bo, the most adorable ball of white fluff puppy this side of Manhattan. Last year, Terri and her sister started a business called Sisters Alchemy, making homemade organic soaps that smell good enough to eat. (www.sistersalchemy.com )

Terri first appeared on our show in 2012, where we surprised her with very person she has ever met, call in.  That didn’t seem to scare her off since she has returned many times to chat with the CHIX.   Take a listen———————–>

As Daryl Dixon, in The Walking Dead, Norman is a sexy badass, who is in need of a good hot shower and shampoo. Norman, on the other hand, is one of the sweetest, genuine guys the CHIX have ever met. And, meeting with him was a wild rollercoaster ride. We attempted, through his agent, to book him on a show that was featuring a film that he had completed with his good friend (and ours) Paul Sampson. After being told several times “NO, he is not available”, the persistent CHIX tried one more time. The third time was a charm “HE CAN DO THE SHOW RIGHT NOW”.  After hyperventilating, we scheduled the show, sent him the preliminary information and went live with Norman, all in the course of 15 minutes.  For 11 glorious minutes, we chatted with him and instantly fell in love. He’s a very soft spoken and shy person with a dry sense of humor. And, long story short, he is in dire need of a vacation, is totally sleep deprived and, under no circumstances will he ever appear on Dancing with the Stars.  Here’s the show with The Reedus, which by the way is an Editor’s Choice——————————->

Get some sleep Norman, and if Daryl dies…………………we riot!

allison for the blog

Our first meeting with author/director/screenwriter, Allison Burnett was accidental. And, it was probably the luckiest accident the CHIX would ever encounter. We were researching a show with actor, William McNamara, who was in the midst of filming his latest project, The Trouble With Billy. A trailer for the film was available on YouTube..we watched it…and instantly fell in love with Allison, who was featured. He was satirically funny and his delivery was spot on. We immediately contacted him for our show.  His first interview with us was very “Inside the Actors Studio”, but it morphed into a confetti of random goodness. Since then, Allison has appeared on our show at least 10 times and we affectionally call him our CEO. Here’s our first show————->

Allison is an author extraordinaire and an insightful director. His novel Undiscovered Gyrl was adapted for film, by Allison, called “Ask Me Anything”  The cast included Britt Robertson, Robert Patrick, Martin Sheen, Christian Slater, Molly Hagan, Max Carver and Andy Buckley. The soundtrack was a result of a contest that Allison ran online, of songs written and perfomed by girls 18yrs and younger. This set the tone for the film’s lead who was 17 years old. One of our favorite shows was the reunion of the cast with Allison, Andy Buckley, Max Carver, Robert Patrick and Molly Hagan. Take a listen————->
